There is no pyroclastic yodeling here
When Mr. Wrinkles and I heard a yodel on the Occoneechee Mountain trails yesterday, I was reminded of two of my all-time favorite gals, the DeZurik sisters. Know anybody else that learned to yodel by imitating birds? In this track, the National Barn Dance sweethearts imitate the sound of a Hawaiian steel guitar. Those whippoorwill noises are kinda trippy. It sounds like tape playing backwards. How the hell do they manage that? Sing my favorite won't you gals? Thanks for the enlightening post. WFMU should be a fixed link here...and I'll fix that real quick>>
